In the event that you need to submit a forfeit, you must email info@parkville.netballvic.com.au in advance, detailing your team name, game time, fixtured court, and reason for forfeiting. Forfeits submitted before 12pm on the day of competition you are due to play, will not incur any fee. For Saturday Games Forfeits must be submitted before 4pm on the Friday before to avoid fees.If a forfeit is to be submitted after the 12pm or 4pm cut off, the team will incur a forfeit fee as detailed in Bylaw 18.8. Each team can forfeit before 12pm or 4pm free of charge up to 3 times before a fee will be charged, regardless of notice given.

As per Bylaw 17.1 each player is required to have played 4 games to be eligible to participate in finals.

Yes, each player can play up to 3 games for another team in a higher division without restriction. However, if you are registered to a club or association on that competition night, you must only fill in for a team entered by that club or association. Entity team players (non-club or association) may play for any other entity team in a higher division on that day of competition for up to 3 games without restriction.Once a player plays their 4th game in a higher division, they cannot return to the lower division team.Please see Bylaw 15 for more information and penalties.

Yes and no. Yes, you can play in a lower division but only if you have not played your 4th game in your normal team. If you have played 4 or more games with a team, you cannot play in any teams graded in a lower division. E.G. Player A has played 4 games for Club A's Division 4 team; the player has been asked to fill in for Club A's team in Division 6. The player has to decline the request to fill in; otherwise, Club A's Division 6 team will be subject to a 4-premiership point deduction on the ladder for playing an overqualified player if they take the court. Please refer to Bylaw 15 for more information and Penalties.

Team Attendance must be marked for each team for each game and must accurately depict the players who took the court, players on the bench that do not take the court must not be marked as played on Netball Connect Attendance.Please refer to the Netball Connect marking attendance instruction resource here.

Email Us!If a team manger sends an email to info@parkville.netballvic.com.au before we contact you for missing attendance, Parkville will amend the team attendance data on Netball Connect for you without penalty.

You can find this in our Bylaws under Bylaw 7.4Age is determined by the 31st of December of the competition year. So if your child turns 13 in September of that competition year their Netball Age is 13 for the whole competition year excluding Male players.

The next step is to connect to your Netball Club's Umpire Coordinator and express your interest in umpiring for the club and that you would like to be entered into the next available 6-week Parkville Beginner Umpire Program on Saturday Mornings. This beginner umpire program will help you gain your confidence on court, and help you better understand the rules you are enforcing.As you start to develop as an umpire, you will then be assessed throughout your development to progress to the next stage in your umpiring journey, wherever you may be.
