Supervisor and First Aid positions for the 2025 Parkville Netball season are now open.

 

We are inviting applications for positions at the State Netball Centre and as well as First Aid and relief supervisor roles at Riverside.

 

All position descriptions are below, we recommend reading them thoroughly and considering if you are suitable for the role before applying.

 

Please be advised we will be trialling some new things in 2025, including:

 

• Use of Rosterfy for umpire allocations (one night per season)

• Umpires checking team attendance

• Competition staff managing finals

• Rotation of supervisors to provide new opportunities

• Saturday umpire development program for beginners

• Holding time in Division 1 and 2 games (Spring)

• 13&Under competition on Tuesday’s at 5.30pm at the SNC (max 9 teams)

• Friday evening tournaments

 

In 2025 we will have the VNL Reserves competition on a Tuesday night. This competition will be a feeder for VNL clubs only and all umpire allocations will be managed by the VNL Allocations panel utilising the broader squad.

 

The Sunday Male & Mixed competition will be reintroduced as a full season starting 16 March – 6 July. Further opportunities will be available as part of this competition.

 

We have achieved a lot in 2024.

• 1005 teams (507, 498)

• 15.5% increase in Saturday juniors

• At capacity Riverside Thursday 15’s and Tuesday Premier Open competitions

• 21 x C Badges

• 2 x B Badges

• 3 x new supervisors.

 

If you are interested in being involved in 2025, please apply in writing via info@parkvillenetballvic.com.au with the night/day you are interested in supervising, with something you can bring to the competition in 2025 no later than Sunday 15 December. Volunteer Engagement Letters will be sent the following week.
